“I teach one thing and one thing only – that there is suffering and an end to suffering.”
Buddha

Our aim is to provide opportunities for people to practice meditation and to study the Buddhadharma. We strive to address the suffering that exists in multiple layers:
- Personal
- Familial
- Societal
- Ecological
Zen practice works like concentric circles, beginning with the self at the center, and spreading outward to family, community, society and ecology.

Thursdays, 7-8pm Guided Meditation with Discussion
For many of us, sitting still and in silence is not relaxing, or may even trigger past trauma. Guided meditations are a gentle way of leading a practitioner through offering choices of where to place our attention. For examples of guided meditations, check these out, or come join us live.

Trauma take us out of our body as a protective survival mechanism. While this is a brilliant evolutionary adaptation that helps preserve life, once trauma subsides we need mechanisms and techniques to help us return to our body. The practice of TCTSY is about learning to be in our own skins, and to make choices with our bodies based on the sensations we are experiencing in the present moment.
